Blue Ocean Marine Tech Systems announces latest addition to glider fleet

There is nothing quite like unwrapping a new toy.

BO-MTS are excited to announce the latest addition to our Glider Fleet, a shiny new Teledyne Slocum G3 Glider just arrived from the US. This vehicle has environmentally friendly rechargeable batteries and will be utilised with payloads ranging from the JASCO Ocean Observer passive acoustic array for Whale Monitoring and Defence applications, to traditional Met-Ocean sensors such as O2, CTD, Irradiance, Backscatter, Chlorophyll-A and FDOM.

The integration of Biological Echosounders onto our Gliders is on the horizon too! If you are interested in Oceanographic Data, please get in touch!
